The Velvet Cactus has established itself as one of the iconic Mexican Food restaurants in a City surrounded by Creole food. In May of 2011 the Velvet Cactus was welcomed to New Orleans, a community still recovering from the devastating flood waters caused by Hurricane Katrina. The Velvet Cactus is a lively, trendy, casual restaurant with every square foot decorated with a sense of humor and zest for life. Our Feeling's Flame electric candles enlighten the bar area and add to it's quirky attitude.
